Declaring ihram (aka talbiyah)
Abdullah bin Umar (R) said the talibiyah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was [the above].
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
“Jibreel came to me and commanded me to order my Companions to raise their voices in talbiyah.”
From Mina to Arafat: Talbiyah, Takbir, or Tahlil
Ibn Umar said,
“We proceeded along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Mina to ‘Arafat, some of us were saying talbiyah and the others were shouting “Allah u Akbar”
Anas bin Malik said,
“We went in the morning on this day with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) from Mina to ‘Arafat. Some of us recited the Takbir (Allah u Akbar) and some of us recited the Tahlil (La ilaha illallah), and neither criticized the other.”
Tawaf
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Tawaf riding a camel [at that time the Prophet ﷺ had a foot injury]. Whenever he came to the Corner (with the Black Stone) he would point out towards it with a thing in his hand and say, “Allah u Akbar.”
After all the tawaf are completed
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said [the above]. Then he prayed two rakaat reciting Surah Faithah, Surah Kafirun 109, and Surah Ikhlas 112. Then he went back to the Corner and touched it, then he went out to Safa.
On the way to Safa
He then went out of the gate towards Safa, and as he reached near it he recited, “Indeed, the Safa and the Marwa are from the symbols of Allah,” and then he said, “I begin with what Allah (has commanded me) to begin.”
At Safa and Marwa
He first mounted the Safa till he saw the Qibla, and facing Qibla he declared the Oneness of Allah and glorified Him, and said, “[the above]”. He then made dua during it, saying such words three times. He then descended and walked towards al-Marwa, and when his feet came down in the bottom of the valley, he ran, and when he began to ascend he walked till he reached the Marwa. There he did as he had done at the Safa.
On the way to Jamarat
The Prophet (ﷺ) was constantly reciting Talbiya till he did Rami of the Jamarat-Al-Aqaba.
On every throw at Jamarat (stoning Shaytan)
Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stoned the Jamrat near Mina Masjid, he would do Ramy of it with seven small pebbles and say Takbir on throwing each pebble. Then he would go ahead and stand facing the Qiblah with his hands raised, and invoke (Allah) and he sued to stand for a long period. Then he would come to the second Jamra (Al-Wusta) and stone it will seven small stones, reciting Takbir on throwing each stone. Then he would stand facing the Qiblah with raised hands to invoke (Allah). Then he would come to the Jamra near the 'Aqaba (Jamrat-ul-'Aqaba) and do Ramy of it with seven small pebbles, reciting Takbir on throwing each stone. he then would leave and not stay by it.
